Polycarbonate possesses excellent impact resistance, heat resistance, dimensional stability and clarity. However, it has poor chemical resistance & notch sensitivity. Strengthening polycarbonate with glass fibre, carbon fibre, impact modifiers and other polymers led to great expansion in its application space.
